Global pop star Dua Lipa has gushed over South Africa in a heartfelt social media post, sharing stunning images from a safari holiday with her fiancé, actor Callum Turner, that has left fans everywhere wanting to book the next flight to Johannesburg.
The engaged couple visited the iconic Kruger National Park and Sabi Sands, sharing a carousel of images on Instagram that captured wildlife encounters, sunlit landscapes and intimate personal moments, including heartwarming embraces against dramatic natural backdrops and close-up interactions with elephants and zebras.
Lipa, 30, captioned the post with infectious enthusiasm, writing: “David Attenborough, eat your heart out! I just had the most incredible trip of my life in South Africa. Being so close to such beautiful animals in their natural habitat, between Kruger Park and Sabi Sands, was something I can barely put into words. It was truly unforgettable, one of those experiences that stays with you forever.”
The post featured the couple alongside incredible wildlife encounters and scenic landscapes, with Turner also appearing in several of the images. Fans were quick to respond, flooding the comments with praise for the country and the couple’s evident joy throughout the trip.

It was not Lipa’s first visit to the country. In January she had shared a glimpse of a stop in Cape Town, suggesting South Africa has become something of a personal favourite.
The trip comes amid growing speculation about the couple’s upcoming wedding. Reports suggest the pair are planning a low-key ceremony, possibly abroad, with one source indicating the wedding is expected to take place before Lipa turns 31 in August.
